Craig Line has always been someone who notices light and detail in his surroundings, and he often stops along his way here or there to photograph a landscape or portrait that has caught his eye. He has taken photographs since he was a kid, studied photography and anthropology in college and has worked as a professional photographer for more than 35 years, for clients such as The Associated Press, New York Times, Boston Globe, Vermont Life and Vermont Magazines, as well as for many non-profits in Vermont. He has lived there since 1978, yet his work has taken him to many foreign countries, including Peru, Bolivia, several former Soviet Republics, England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Italy and Nepal. Throughout all his photographic work, his main motivations and joys have been to share glimpses of the world that might somehow affect the viewer, to inspire emotional responses to that which first caught his attention.
